个人简介


  张兵博士2007年毕业于山东大学,2015年获得美国凯斯西储大学生物化学博士学位;2015-2020年在美国哈佛大学干细胞与可再生生物学系任职博士后,从事哺乳动物皮肤干细胞调控与皮肤和毛发再生的研究。曾先后获得哈佛大学杰出教学奖和Charles A. King Trust博士后奖金。2020年秋季入职西湖大学任研究员,研究方向为皮肤干细胞的调控以及皮肤和毛发再生。


学术成果


  成体干细胞对维持身体组织器官的更新和修复起到核心作用。张兵博士的工作重点是利用哺乳动物皮肤干细胞作为模型系统,研究组织器官内各类细胞之间的相互作用机制,以及这些机制如何控制器官发育,组织再生和伤口修复。主要学术成果包括:
  1. 阐明了在毛囊再生过程中,不同细胞之间的协调生长机制(Zhang et al., Gene and Development 2016),对了解复杂器官的发育和再生具有重要意义。
  2. 发现了交感神经系统对干细胞活动的直接调控机制 (Zhang et al., Nature 2020),对了解精神压力对组织器官再生和修复的影响提供新的思路。
  3. 发展测试各类基因组学和基因编辑方法在皮肤和毛囊组织再生中的应用。
  目前我们的研究方向主要集中在以下三个方面:
  1. 神经系统与成体干细胞的相互作用机制和生理功能;
  2. 身体的系统性因子(如精神压力,衰老等)对干细胞及组织器官再生的影响机制;
  3. 哺乳动物皮肤和毛发的再生机制。
